  18. <p>     If 1992 was the year of the woman, then 1993 is the year of
  19. the Appealing Preadolescent Boy. They were featured in movies
  20. this summer, and now they're showing up on fall TV. A standout
  21. is BEN SAVAGE, 12 (brother of The Wonder Years' Fred), who stars
  22. in the new comedy Boy Meets World. "In one episode he wants
  23. a $50 squirt gun, and he has to come up with the money," Ben
  24. says of his wily character. "I can relate to that." And what
  25. more clever way to raise the cash than to star on TV?
